Drag Wires Safety Wired and Taped

 I did a final tightening and trammel check.  Then somehow I spent an hour putting safety wire on 6 turnbuckles. They're done.

 WACO used Friction Tape in a lot of places like we would use cable ties today.  It's this sticky rubberized cotton tape.

Where the wires cross they rub on each other.  To prevent them abrading the intersection is wrapped with Friction Tape.  The wrap starts between the wires.

When I worked for Western Electric we coated the tape with Shellac.  I may do that before I'm done.  WACO didn't and the tape hasn't unwrapped in 90+ years.
